Product Description
Esterified, non-neutralized Glycolic acid for in-office
use.
Skin Types
GLYDERM® facials may be recommended for all skin
types regardless of race or age. However, GLYDERM®
is not recommended for someone who is using Accutane.
Benefits
-
With repeated applications, GLYDERM® facials
will improve the texture and tone of the skin and
clean out pores.
-
We also have many reports that the facials seem to
help even out pigmentation and give the face a fresher
appearance.
Directions
Glycolic Acid facial applicators are applied in your
office by a trained specialist. The GLYDERM® facial
is initially performed on a weekly or bi-weekly basis
for six to twelve weeks. Facials may be continued after
that time for as long as patients continue to see results.
Most patients will return on a monthly or bi-monthly basis
for a freshening facial. The recommended guideline to
follow in your office consists of two 20%, two 30%, and
two 40% facials once a week for six weeks. Facials are
applied to the skin for three minutes. Please note, however,
this is a guideline only, and you should tailor the program
to each individual patient.
To neutralize the product, use cool water or cleanse
with the Gentle Cleanser.

The higher strengths are very helpful and well tolerated by
patients who may be described as having considerable solar
damage, thicker, or oilier skin. Please see the Physician
instruction sheet for more details.
